Servicing Stop Ltd ('we' or 'us') takes your privacy very seriously. This document refers to your personal data, how we use it, why we use it and our legal basis for doing so. Servicing Stop uses the information you provide us with: to provide quotations for car servicing, MOT tests, repairs; initiate and complete contracted work; make telephone contact and to email or SMS text message you responsible PR and marketing information we feel as a company may be of interest to you. By using our website to contract us for services and opting in, you are giving Servicing Stop permission to maintain a marketing dialogue with you until you either opt out (which you can do at any stage) or we decide to desist in promoting our services. Any information Servicing Stop holds about you and your business encompasses all the details we hold about you and any sales transactions including any third-party information we have obtained about you from public sources and our own suppliers such as credit referencing agencies.
The medium by which we collect and process your data includes: our websites; customer application; garage manager application; over the phone (and subsequently entered into our websites).
Servicing Stop will only collect the information needed so that it can provide you with the services you have contracted us for; or for PR and marketing services. We do not sell or broker your data, although coincidentally there may be times when your information could be contained in data that Servicing Stop has purchased from a third-party list broker, on behalf of a client.

Servicing Stop may pass a limited amount of your Personal Information to third parties exclusively to process work on its behalf, including our Garage Partners who need certain data to collect, service and deliver a customer’s vehicle. The information we may share includes: a customer’s name; phone number (available 24 hours prior to a booking); email; vehicle registration; address. This information is shared via our live-system website and via our Servicing Stop Garage Manager App. Servicing Stop requires these third parties to agree to process this information based on our instructions and requirements consistent with this Privacy Notice and GDPR.
Servicing Stop does not broker or pass on information gained from your interaction. However, Servicing Stop may disclose your Personal Information to meet legal obligations, regulations or valid governmental requests. Servicing Stop may also enforce its Terms and Conditions, including investigating potential violations of its Terms and Conditions to detect, prevent or mitigate fraud or security or technical issues; or to protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of Servicing Stop Ltd, its clients and/or the wider community.
Servicing Stop retains collected personal data indefinitely (unless instructed otherwise). The purpose for this is to adequately serve the full lifecycle of a customer’s vehicle; and subsequent vehicles. We only use this data for the purpose originally contracted for, and to market this purpose.

Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, the security of your personal data transmitted to us cannot be guaranteed. Any transmission is at your own risk. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible for any unauthorised use, distribution, damage or destruction of personal data, except to the extent we are required to accept such responsibility under data protection laws.

Servicing Stop will accept the following forms of ID when information on your personal data is requested: a copy of your driving licence, passport, birth certificate and a utility bill not older than three months. A minimum of one piece of photographic ID listed above and a supporting document is required.
